Information Literacy service is responsible in providing the help and guidance to PTAR UiTM Sarawak users in accessing and retrieving information or reference resources that updated and relevant for the purposed to support teaching, learning and research activities among UiTM Sarawak users.  

Should there be any reference questions or reference interviews, users are welcomed to approach any of the staff at PTAR UiTM Sarawak. This can be conducted during office hours as stated below:

Information Literacy functions:

  • To give reference service through face to face and phone calls
  • Conducting Information Skill Class
  • Helping in giving expertise skill on reference services
  • Quick Reference service (QR)
  • Handling the promotions of marketing and services
  • Conduction library orientation program for new users
  • Assisting visitors from inside and outside of the state that comes to PTAR UiTM Sarawak
